Gameplay
Are all of the bio suits (hazmats) the same?
No, all hazmats have different protection properties and are similar to their attire counterparts. One thing to note though, bio suits are not equal to their attire counterparts, so it does benefit you to switch to your regular gearset in oxygenated environments.
Tier 1: Yellow Hazmat (Burlap Clothing)
Tier 2: Blue Hazmat (Wooden Gearset)
Tier 3: Green Hazmat (Roadsign Gearset)
Tier 4: Heavy Hazmat (Full Metal Gearset)
Blue, Green, and Heavy hazmats can be found in crates across the map as well as dropped by scientists occasionally. They are also available at Cobalt Outpost in exchange for scrap.
Oxygen on this server?
Yes! We have a robust and innovative method for handling oxygen on Mars!
On initial spawn, you are equipped with a standard o2 tank. Air is not taken from the tank when inside of Biodome, your base, or inside of Outpost. You can refill your tank just by walking up to a refill station where are indicated all over the map or from a workbench. You can also upgrade your tanks from the refill stations as well if you want a prolonged experienced without having to refill it as often!
If you respawn on a bag/bed you’ll be equipped with a much smaller emergency tank to prevent players from just mass-suiciding to collecting tanks at their base bear in mind!
Custom Items: Predator Missile, Mining gun, Backpacks?
Our server is equipped with numerous custom items not obtainable from normal Rust! Below feature each one, where to find them, and what they do!
Predator Missile: An incredibly powerful tool to use for PVP instances that can be found in loot (with better odds in higher tier loot). Great to kill door campers. This is solely a PVP item as it won’t cause damage to bases and it functions the same as a call of duty predator missile in the fact it spawns in the sky and you control it down to the point of impact. When the item is active in the hotbar press and hold E for a few seconds to engage it!
Mining Gun: The BEST item for farming the most efficient way on our server! This can be found in higher tier loot only as well as our top tier VIP package Engineer Kit. You can mine nodes much faster and from a distance! Check out our video here to see it in action!
Backpack: A great item to hold additional gear! Super easy to use, just open it up and drag and drop items inside of it from within your inventory! Can be found from a chance in most loot containers and in our top tier VIP package Engineer Kit!
How do hoverbikes/subs work?
Hoverbikes can either be purchased from outpost for found alongside the road if you’re lucky! They’re a great and easy way to travel quickly and hold 1 additional passenger in addition to the driver. To activate the hover mode while the bike is fueled just press the shift key to engage it and hover on!
Hoversubs work the exact same way however they can only be purchased from outpost and can carry up to 3 players if you purchase the larger one and offer much more protection however visibility is vastly reduced.

Greencards can be found at: (Terrain Lab, Warehouse, Market, and are purchasable from Outpost)

When is wipe?
Currently, we only have 1 server on Mars and the wipes are the following:
Tuesday and Friday at 3pm EST
Tuesday is a map-only wipe (blueprints and vault items remain)
Friday is a full wipe
What is the vault?
The resource vault is a small private storage you have to store the core essential resources within outpost with 3 available storage slots for Wood, Stone, Lowgrade, etc to help give you a nice little reserve. It won’t hold anything other than those core essential resources.
Roofcamping and is it allowed?
Yes, roofcamping is allowed. It’s a core part of Rust and we prefer not to entirely make it a rule as moderation would be a nightmare.
However, we do have a mod in place that vastly reduces it and the info on that is below.
Conditions
While on top of your own base you will not be able to kill players more than 60m away
You can damage players within 60m from your base
You can inflict damage on a player past 60m if they shoot you first
If you're not authorized on the base you're on you won't be considered a roofcamper
The mod temporary disabled anti roofcamping while the helicopter is out
Group Limit
The group limit is 3 players max. There’s further detail on our Rules page about this but essentially you may not play with any more than 3 players, this includes cycling players out when others go offline. Allying is also against the rules. The only thing you may have is a no-raid agreement for a nearby neighbor at most if you wish.
Boost Jumps
Double tap space bar (jump key) twice whilst standing still incredibly fast to get a boost jump! Super helpful for solo raiding if you fall inside of honeycombing. Be mindful it does consume a small bit of oxygen per use and does make a noise that players can hear!
VIP
Where can I purchase VIP?
VIP can be purchased by clicking the button on the top-right labeled ‘VIP Store’
How can I upgrade my VIP kit?
Currently, we are not allowing upgrades due to demand. If you wish to upgrade, you can purchase a higher tier kit.
Can I buy a VIP kit for a friend?
Yes, you can buy VIP for your friend. When purchasing VIP, just select gift and enter your friend’s Steam 64 id.
Can I get a refund my VIP kit?
No, refunds are not permitted as it’s a digital good going towards supporting this community. Additionally, anyone filing a chargeback will be banned from our community as VIP perks are non-refundable. If a user was banned from our server for any various rule we have listed they are not subject to a refund.
How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel a subscription from our store, follow the link below provided by Tebex, our store provider, to view your current subscriptions. To learn more visit this link: https://www.tebex.io/contact/checkout
Servers
Will there be an EU server?
We are looking into an EU in the future. Want to focus on core mechanics/bugs/etc before we expand in other regions. But it is planned!
Will you have different types of modded servers?
Not currently planned at the moment. We are overwhelmed with the amount of support we are currently receiving and we want to ensure we make this server 100% before introducing others.
Will you increase server pop?
It’s certainly a possibility, however at the moment we plan to move up progressively. Increasing the max pop on a small map could hurt the population more than benefit. And increasing the map size too much can hurt as well. So slowly increasing will more than likely be the plan if demand keeps going up like it has!
